How To Recover Deleted Reddit Posts/Comments

There’s a tool floating under the radar right now that every adult creator using Reddit should have bookmarked. Especially if you’re studying promo strategy or dealing with shadowbans, mod removals, or deleted threads.

This site lets you view deleted Reddit posts and comments. Not just your own — any public Reddit content that’s been removed. That means:

  • You can see what mods or Reddit itself are removing (so you stop wasting time on content that won’t stick)
  • You can track deleted threads you posted in
  • You can monitor comments from followers that disappeared, especially if they included feedback or purchase intent
  • You can reverse-engineer promo tactics that got removed and why

Finding Deleted Content

I have found for best results when searching for deleted content the best way to go about it is by using the ID lookup tool, and collecting the post or comment ID.

Finding Post ID

The post ID is always the 6-character string that comes right after /comments/ in the URL.

Example Post URL:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Creators_spicy_tea/comments/1i5gjr1/we_have_a_new_actually_functional_website_for_cst/

Post ID: 1i5gjr1

 Finding Comment ID

The comment ID is the 7-character string at the very end of a full comment URL.

Example Comment URL:

https://www.reddit.com/r/CamGirlProblems/comments/1khkouh/comment/mr7ricy/?context=3

Comment ID: mr7ricy

Final Thoughts

It’s a visibility tool. Not just for content, but for community behavior. And if Reddit is part of your funnel, you already know how much happens in the gray area between “allowed” and “shadowbanned.”
