Adult Content Creator’s Reddit Promotion Tool Kit
Reddit is a beastie to manage. We all know this. She is absolutely manageable without using external tools, but bringing those external tools in will absolutely help make the process so much smoother and so much easier. This is a compilation of tools, websites and apps that you can use to help manage your Reddit promotion.
Finding Subreddits
r/SubsForSW
This subreddit is very different from other subs. Rather than being a place to post and promote, it is a place to find areas for posting and promoting. Simply make a post using the commands available That describe you and your content. Commands include body type, age range, ethnicity, etc. including as many keywords as applicable of the content you create and promote on Reddit is going to be beneficial as it will provide more results per keyword. From there the auto moderator will comment on your post with a very large list of potentially applicable subreddits for you to post in.
Old Reddit Subreddit Search
This is my method of finding subreddits to join. Simply type in a keyword and or a subreddit name, be certain the box labeled include NSFW results is clicked, and then search. This will pull up all subs that have that keyword in it, it’s description or commonly seen related posts (heavy I think on the last one there. Haven’t seen a anything official say that, but it seems to be my experience). If you searched a specific sub, it will pull up ones that are relatively similar in topic. I prefer this tool over others due to the fact that it is the most accurate and updated. If a sub has been recently taken down, it will not appear here which saves me a bit of searching time. It does however, come from the dinosaur era of website builds and she looks it.
anvaka.github.io
This was shown to us by a member of creators resource chats and I love this site! Type in the name of one subreddit, when it pops up in the search bar click it. And then a map of related subreddits will come up. I love this tool because it is so fun, and also has helped me find so many of my favorite communities. That being said, as you can see it is still showing fetishmarketsocial as a subreddit which we know is gone. So it is not up to date.
Platform General
F5bot
F5bot is a free automated keyword tracking tool. I love this thing for Creators Spicy Tea. Being able to see when your keywords are mentioned and where helps you stay on top of things like your brand image, your community standing, and just helps keep you in the know in real time. Not only are the keywords and text in which they are used logged on their site, they also automatically send you an email every time they are used. Set up for each keyword is fairly simple and they have very easy to follow directions to do so.
Down Detector
Though Reddit does have its own official page for the platforms up or down status, I have found it to be exceptionally unreliable. Going directly through down detector has always been significantly more accurate, quick for showing accurate reporting, and has overall never failed me. It bases its responses on reports sent in by users themselves. Anytime Reddit starts acting weird as a platform, before I panic thinking I have been banned, I check down detector to see if she is just having her third tantrum of the day (which as of taking this screenshot, she was in fact tantruming).
Scheduling & Posting
Reddit Preview
This site is amazing for checking formatting on a text post or comment prior to posting it. I use this site to make sure my markdown is doing exactly what I was hoping it would do without having to post it anywhere.
SocialRise Subreddit Analysis
Y’all know I use Fangrowth for scheduling my posts. However, for the posts I do put up manually I reference this page to find the optimal posting times. Type in the subreddit name you are looking to post in and hit analyze. From there it will provide a heat map of when the best posting times are. This tool really has never done me wrong.
Fangrowth.io
I will scream my love of fangrowth until the end of time. Linda, the developer, built this platform with creators in mind. I have had the joy of helping bring creators needs to her, and have seen her bend over backwards to make it all happen. This scheduler is Reddit safe, and is packed with so many customizations and features that creators need.
Profile Management
Reveddit
Reveddit is my absolute love when it comes to managing my profile. Simply pop open the site, type in your username, and then it will present a report of all comments or posts that have been removed, along with the reasoning they were removed. This has helped me immensely. If I start seeing posts getting removed by Reddit or even just by moderators, I know to reevaluate my participation in the community or on the platform in general. For a full tutorial on using this site, click here.
Shreddit
Need to nuke everything on your profile including posts, comments, etc? This site will help with that! It also provides customization to only delete from certain subreddits, delete everything except certain subreddits, delete everything under a certain amount of engagement etc. They state they are safe to use as they use reddit’s API, and that no account has ever faced penalties for using this site.
Recent Account Activity
There are plenty of steps that we should take to protect our accounts including verifying our emails, and even using 2FA. There is also another step we could take which would be checking this page relatively often to see if there are any logins that we do not recognize. This page lists the IP address, location, time of visit, among some other details of every recent login to your account.

Analytics & Analysis
Reddit’s In Platform Profile Analytics,
Reddit itself does offer a page that shows your profile analytics. That being said, they are incredibly rudimentary and a little bit hard to follow. To access the page that has these analytics you need to be on desktop and input the following URL, replacing the word username with your actual username while logged into the correct account: https://www.reddit.com/user/username/about/traffic/
RedditMetis
This is a genuinely adorable platform. This site once you input your username and click go will look through your last 1,000 posts and comments and provide a analysis of your profile. The analysis covers everything from your fog index to wholesomness to subreddit karma breakdown.
Reddit User Analysis
Very similar to the platform above this analysis tool provides a relatively brief, and I’m not entirely certain as to help accurate analysis of a Reddit users profile. Same as above just input the username and it goes through the last 1,000 post and comments. this domain is banned on reddit! I found this out by trying to share it there. Do not share this link on platform.
Subreddit Top Post Analysis
This tool is a great way to help curate and refine your captions with your posts. It will examine popular post trends for any given subreddit including keywords and phrases that are most popular. And when the best performing posts were posted.
Final Thoughts
You can absolutely rock it out on Reddit without using any one of these. However multiple of them for me have been incredibly helpful and incredibly beneficial with not just promotion, but just in general having better insights and better experiences on the platform.
