Google’s Results About You: Remove Private Information From Google

Google has many options in place that adult content creators can utilize to help further protect their privacy and ensure their safety. Their section titled Results About You is just one example. From their you are able to input your legal information and request to have it removed from search results. We have already discussed a few methods of maintaining anonymity, but this is another step that we can take.

To find that page either click the link above or follow the below steps:

  1. Log into the Google app
  2. Click your profile picture or avatar to open the menu
  3. Select Results About You.

Requesting Removal of Results About You

Once you have entered the Results About You page the procedure to check for search results and the request removals is quite straightforward.

Locate Search Results

  1. Select ‘Get Started’ or ‘Settings’
  2. Enter all your personal information you want to have searched.
    • You can enter everything from nicknames, to multiple phone numbers, multiple emails, etc.
    • The more information you provide, the more robust the search results will be.
  3. Turn on notifications by selecting to receive emails or a push notification once Google has completed its search.

Review Results

  1. This will likely only take a few hours to return results. Once it does review all results that came back.
  2. You can select individual results to learn more about the site and what of your information is being shared.

Request Removals

You can request removal for any search results you wish removed. This does not remove anything from the website where the information is hosted, only removes the listing from Google search.

  1. Select the result you wish to remove
  2. Select Request to Remove.
  3. Wait. You will receive two emails following this:
    • The first is a confirmation that your request has been sent.
    • The second is either confirmation or denial of the removal.
