A while back a Reddit post went up in the subreddit r/camgirlproblems titled First Findom Experience! I figured I would share my answer that I commented there, what I would add in today and my tips for a findom beginner. I also made sure to add in some resources to help with your research deep dive if you are new to this fetish! The OP asked:
“Omg guys so I’ve been curious/ interested in finsub clients ever since I started camming last year, and I finally got my first one tonight! We had a private and I drained about $300 from him in just over an hour!
It was genuinely so fun I want to get better at this and possibly try to pursue it more. My question is; are these clients very rare and hard to come by? Also, would taking more guys like this scare away my current regulars I’ve built up?”
My Response
“If you start branding yourself towards findom you are very likely to lose current clients, and very very much so will lose future clients who are not in that niche. That being said, if you want to dive in to that niche, those are not your clients you want anyway.
I am a general fetish creator. However, I absolutely provide those services and say I do here and there, but not broadcast it everywhere all the time. Those clients tend to find me through my normal marketing and promotion, and then I’ll be honest they are all like, 6 month plus long-term clients. It’s not the most, but they bring me 1-3.5k most months. like I said, not the most, because that’s not my primary. But it is a nice little padding
There is a lot you need to know about this. You need to research into this very heavily before just diving in.
- know his and your limits.
- respect them.
- If you want to take the extra step to protect your ass, which I always do, have them write a disclaimer saying they know they are not being forced to do this and they can quit and they are consenting to this. And that you are not liable for shit.
- know their max budget
- respect that.
- And realize that once you are in the drain you are also responsible for tracking how much has been sent your way. They are in a altered headspace at that point. If you don’t track it and you accidentally keep asking for more and more, that can destroy someone’s life.”

I would include this as well if responding today:
- Findom clients are neither rare nor plentiful in general. The amount you receive will be entirely dependent on where and how you are marketing.
- Even if they are not hard to come by, meant find it hard to trust. Respect the client going their speed and their pace just like you would in any type of relationship.
