Find Where Your Content Goes with Reddit Crossposts

Did your Reddit post get crossposted and you want to know where? There is a common myth that the information is not out there and that this is an impossible goal. Well that myth is very wrong. Even though this information is absolutely buried and finding it is a bit of a secret hack, it is still out there.

How do I know if my Reddit post has been crossposted

On each of your posts on Reddit regardless of the post type insights will be generated. You can find the insights by clicking ‘See More Insights’ at the bottom of your post.

Once that has opened the next page should be showing insights and analytics breaking down your posts performance. Scroll to the bottom to find Reddit crossposts.

This is a static number and does not hyperlink to where your post was cross posted. Which is where this hack comes in.

How to Find Your Cross Posted Content

1. Get the link for your Reddit post

Open your post on desktop and grab the URL. For example the URL for the post above is:

Heads up – New scam going around Reddit – ‘NSFW Temporary Suspension’ !
byu/kuyariggedalley inCreators_spicy_tea

2. Change the URL to Old Reddit

Change the URL to reflect old Reddit by changing “www” to “old”. For example:

https://old.reddit.com/r/Creators_spicy_tea/comments/1qk1smm/heads_up_new_scam_going_around_reddit_nsfw/

3. Change the word “comments” to “duplicates

This will pull up the duplicates of your post in a list. Your URL should look like below:

https://old.reddit.com/r/Creators_spicy_tea/duplicates/1qk1smm/heads_up_new_scam_going_around_reddit_nsfw/

This will pull up the below screen. The cross posts are listed below the label ‘Other Discussions
