YourVids is an exciting up and coming adult clip site platform. The below in-depth look at the platform was guest written for the Creators Spicy Tea resource library by Aerie Saunders, the blog manager for YourVids!

Platforms & Audience

YourVids is a new clip-based adult content platform, with digital storefront and bundle options as well as tipping and custom ordering. While the site is new to the scene, it’s creator is well known in the adult space from his experience owning and operating BranditScan. The site itself offers storefronts to performers allowing them spaces to sell video content, photosets within their boutique, audio content (marked as audio only within your video settings), bundles that can be created with existing video content, and an “about me” section where you can link to your social media accounts and preferred webcam site. The internal traffic is still growing on this platform but the directories and search functionalities are optimized for fans to find content they’re looking for whether it’s a specific performer, niche/kink, category, body type, etc.

Features

YourVids provides many ways to monetize your content and interactions on their platform. Outside of generic video sales, boutique sales (photosets, social media subscriptions, and other various digital store items), video bundles, tipping, and customs there is also the ability to charge for messages including pay-to-view attachments. YourVids also provides comprehensive analytics and “live leads” showing you fans that are actively viewing your profile and listing fans that are engaging with your content frequently which enables creators to reach out to interested fans that are considered “hot leads.” You can also access detailed analytics from your creator dashboard by visiting your video, boutique, or bundle section and clicking on the title; it will provide you with a breakdown of your total views, unique visitors, conversion rate, and revenue with a list of the top traffic sources and how many likes, comments, and wishlists it’s been added to. You’ll also be able to see recent visitors of that specific content so you can reach out with upsell opportunities or promo codes – which are also available on the site.

YourVids provides community oriented features for their creators including a live chat room, community forum section, and fan leaderboard for creators to utilize for outreach to members that are online. The Bugs, Ideas, & Suggestions section of the Community is reviewed daily by developers and admins, which allows feedback and bugs to be quickly identified and handled by the YourVids team.

YourVids provides free DMCA takedowns for any pirated content that is posted to their platform from the “takedown labs” section within the creator dashboard. When you provide them with a link to the pirated content, they will submit a Google de-listing request as well as request that the content is removed from the infringing website.

If you don’t like hosting your adult content on websites like Dropbox, Google Drive, or other media hosting platforms; YourVids offers “urLinks” which allows you to give any fan with an active member account on YourVids free access to your video content.

Payout and Commission

YourVids has a unique structure where creators keep the amount of money they set their items (video, boutique, bundles, customs, and messages) to cost, off-setting fees to the customer end. Their specific fee structure for customers is as follows:

For Videos – Less than $8 has a $1.50 service fee, over $8 has a $2.50 service fee. + 6% processing fee.
For Boutique Items – Less than $8 has a $1.50 service fee, over $8 has a $2.50 service fee. + 6% processing fee.
For Bundles: The video fee applies but added together for however many videos are included within your bundle.
For Customs: 10% service fee + 6% processing fee.
For Tips: 10% service fee + 6% processing fee.
For Messages: 10% of message cost (messages can only be purchased with urTokens, which have a 6% processing fee upon purchase)

Fans are able to save money if they are frequent spenders by upgrading to the YourVids VIP Program which has multiple tiers and allows fans to bypass some of the site fees. The VIP Program is also built into the creator dashboard with a referral system, so creators can refer their fans to the program and earn 30% from their first payment and 10% on every subsequent payment for the VIP Program. The VIP Program has the following tiers:

Bronze VIP: $49.99 a month
Ability to upload profile pictures, send images to creators in DMs, highlighted comments and DMs, void the service fee on 5 videos or boutique items, access to the VIP video library
Gold VIP: $99.99 a month
Everything in bronze plus no service fee on videos and boutique items (they only pay the 6% processing fee on transactions for videos and boutique)
Platinum VIP: $299.99 a month
Everything in gold plus no service fees on any on site transaction (they only pay 6% processing fee on transactions they make)

For example, if a creator posts a video for $10, the fan would pay $13.25 if they are not VIP (which gives the model around 76%) and they’d pay $10.60 if they are a VIP member (which gives the model around 94%.) Creators can also optionally post their content to the VIP Library for free to incentivize their fans to sign up for VIP.

Current available payout methods include: ACH (Same Day) for $6, ACH (Next Day) for $3, 1 Hour International Bank Transfer (Outside of US) for $5 + 3%, International Bank Wire for $5 + 5% + Market Rate, Bitcoin (International Only) for $5 + 5% + Gas Fees, and Cosmopay for $2. All sales have a holding period of 7 days before they become eligible for payout and payouts are currently bi-weekly on Wednesdays.

Content Policy

YourVids has a zero tolerance policy for minors (even if it’s simulated), public nudity, filming in “child focused locations” like playgrounds and childrens parks, unverified background individuals, outdoor content where nudity is illegal in public, illegal substances, marijuana (even if it is legal in your location), alcohol, animals in the background during sexual or explicit content, squishing living things, vomit, scat, real or simulated blood, consumption of urine or urine in mouth, incest without “step,” violence including abuse and self-harm, meet ups, CNC, content containing slurs or hate speech, necrophilia (real or fake), and the usage of “no,” “don’t,” or any other revokal of consent throughout the content. Videos are reviewed prior to their release by a real person so if you’re unsure of if your video is allowed on the platform you can upload it and the reviewer will leave notes on any infringements or you can message support@yourvids.com for further clarifications.
